Get ahead of the game and stop Blue Monday in its tracks

Okay so it is not Blue Monday yet and the hangover of New Year may not have quite dissipated. But Monday 15th January has the ominous reputation of being the most depressing day of the year. It has acquired the infamous title thanks to cold dark nights, the festive cheer has worn off and unfortunately the Christmas credit card bills are usually in full flow!
Read on for tips on how to ensure that you and your colleagues are not blue on this day:
  • Bring some plants to the work place – It is thought we are happier the closer we are to nature, so bring some nature indoors for a dose of biophilia
  • Arrange a lunch time walk – Get a daily dose of daylight and fresh air at the same time. Ensure this is pre-arranged to ensure as many colleagues can get involved as possible
  • Design a quiz – For guaranteed laughs and fun, finish half an hour early and involve everyone in a good old general knowledge quiz
If your colleagues are thinking Let’s Get Healthy this year, call us on 01924 666295 to find out more about how we can help your work place in 2018.
