Be more mindful of mindfulness
Stigmas are often attributed towards a subject when it is not truly understood, mindfulness is no exception. Mindfulness is often misunderstood for being some kind of spiritual meditation, but you may already be practicing mindfulness and not know it.
What is Mindfulness? One definition says, mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us (mindful.org, 2014).
