Boozing whilst working from home
We have the privilege to work with global clients and one client has a large team based in the USA.
A new study reports from the States reported that about a third of people who are working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic are also drinking on the job.
About 36 percent of men and 26 percent of women said they drink during work hours.
Is this isolated to those colleagues across the water?
The study also said 22 percent of those surveyed said they have stockpiled alcohol over other food and drink items. Another 35 percent said they’re drinking more in volume than before the pandemic.
“Drinking is directly related to the anxiety and fear surrounding COVID-19,”
Let’s front up to this possibility in Europe and do all you can to support Dry January. Dry January challenges you to go alcohol free for 31 days and aims to raise awareness of the effects of alcohol. For information about the campaign , check out https://alcoholchange.org.uk/
