With the Tour de France and Wimbledon hitting their peak this week, athletes will need to maintain their mental focus in order to succeed. Likewise your workforce have to maintain mental focus throughout the working day for 5 days a week, if not more. Therefore, mental exhaustion could affect your employees ability to perform at their peak.
One easy way you can help your employees maintain mental focus is to encourage them to take their breaks. Small breaks away from their working space will keep them fresh and improve cognitive performance. Encourage employees to leave their working space at least once an hour and have longer breaks at lunchtime they’ll benefit from it, and so will their work efficiency.
