Reading for wellbeing

Reading for wellbeing

In today’s hyper-connected world, we are overwhelmed with information; our screens are often buzzing with engaging content which is hard to ignore.

According to a survey conducted by Booktrust, under 30s are much more likely to choose technology over books, which suggests that reading books might be a dying trend. Importantly, this research highlighted numerous benefits of book reading. It was reported that book readers are more likely to be content with their life, that reading makes people feel good, and that people believe that reading books improves their lives.

Why not ignite your employees’ interest in reading by allowing them to take some time out of their working day to delve into a classic novel or a thrilling sci-fi?
