Tour de France fever
The 104th Le Tour de France started on Saturday. This year cyclists can expect some hilly, mountainous stages in the Pyrenees, Alps and the Jura. Did you know? The Tour de France will actually start in Germany this year. The first stage known as the Grand depart historically begins on foreign soil. With the weather forecast starting to resemble something moderately close to summer this week, why not encourage your employees to ditch the car and take two wheels instead?
You could offer incentives across the next 3 weeks to celebrate the Tour, offering free breakfast for any employee who cycles in, or allow employees half an hour off their working day to commute by pedal power. The environment will benefit as well as your employees health!
