Health kick for Health Information Week
This week is National Health information Week, If ever there was a good time to kick start a health regime, it is now! There is new research into sedentary behaviour and the news is concerning. Research performed at the University of Sydney found if you sit for 10 hours a day you’re increasing your death risk by nearly 50%.
However, it is so easy to reverse. Why not encourage your employees to move more in the workplace? Try removing seats from meeting rooms, to encourage standing meetings, or try some truly devious tactics by putting the lift out of order for a week so employees have to use the stairs, you’ll be doing them a huge favour.
