Be Your Best Self – re-energise your brain

A recent survey of more than 180 business leaders found that four out of 10 (43%) say they do not get enough sleep at least four nights a week. Leaders are standing behind great mental health programmes but often find themselves tired and wired.

Did you know our CPD accredited online learning is packed with tools and techniques that will help challenge your current ways of working – no need for extra time, just try to use your time wiser

Here is one tip for you to take away:

Trouble sleeping – Too much thinking is enemy of late-evening drowsiness. Conceptual activities like intense conversations, replying to emails, working, or reading can arouse your attention and suppress your natural sleepiness. In contrast, perceptual activities like doing the dishes, going for a walk, or listening to music can help you better catch the wave of melatonin (known as the sleep hormone) as it rises. What is on your list tonight?
