Escape to the great outdoors for National Parks Week
Next Monday sees the beginning of National Parks Week, with summer in mid flow why not encourage your employees to get out and see some of the UK’s fantastic sites. Immersing yourself in nature is good for you. Research suggests by simply entering nature it can significantly reduce stress and tension which could lead to a reduction in heart rate, blood pressure and muscle tension.
In the forthcoming weeks encourage employees to spend some time with nature, promote a walking group on lunch breaks where staff can walk in a local park, better yet why not have a walking meeting in amongst nature instead of in the office. Alternatively, you could offer incentives to visit National Parks to encourage staff to get out and see the great outdoors.
