One of Let’s Get Healthy’s chosen charities is the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund supporting children and adults born with congenital heart disease across Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.

Yes, we treat ourselves to their snacks but the team also do additional activities to raise money for the charity and we also donated funds as part of our Christmas Santa Banta Challenge.

Around 450 babies, children and adults from our region need open heart surgery every year. The charity aims to ensure these patients have the best possible care and to help their families in whatever way needed during their stay in hospital.
